University Support
THE CWSE
- The Combined Work and Study Experience (CWSE) is primarily designed to assist existing USQ students who are studying the Electrical/Electronic Engineering at the University of Southern Queensland (USQ) in Toowoomba but are financially challenged or have socio-economic reasons that may be preventing them from studying at USQ.
HOW IT WORKS
- The CWSE is designed not only to assist you financially but assist you in applying the knowledge you gain from your academic tuition into real on the job work in a technology led business situated on campus at USQ throughout your academic course. The objective of the scheme is to encourage you to come to USQ and to use the knowledge you gain in a real life situation so that when you graduate , you graduate with a background of real experience related to your course work, something that will complement the Engineering degree that you obtain from USQ.
- The scheme has operated successfully for 5 years and the results immensely encouraging for the student , USQ and GDA . Have a good look at our web site and see if you are invigorated at the prospect of achieving what potential employers seek:- A good degree backed up with relevant practical work experience .
- The award is $21,600 based on a 4 year course and payable monthly.
