The GDA 2629 Hydrogen Sulphide gas sensor is a further enhancement of the GDA 2529 Hydrogen Sulphide gas sensor that allows AC and DC operation. It has an electrochemical gas sensing unit which is temperature compensated and easily replaceable.

Designed, manufactured and supported locally in Australia.

The gas sensor element is on a pluggable lead to allow ease of replacement. The carbon monoxide gas sensor electronics are housed in a robust ABS sun tolerant plastic enclosure rated IP56; the sensor head and its electronics are housed in a metal enclosure giving it excellent RFI and EMC compatibility. Provides the option of 4-20 mA, 0-10 V, and 0-5 V operation. The additional voltage o/p can be used on BMS systems that use voltage inputs as opposed to current input

  • 0-100 ppm Range (Other ranges on request)
  • 4-20 mA, 0-5 V or 0-10 V o/p
  • Low cost replaceable gas sensor element
  • Easy to install
  • Easy to calibrate (only gas and multimeter required)
  • ABS sun tolerant IP66 housing (sensor element IP62)
  • Australian Factory Certificate of Calibration

Poisoning: GDA sensors are designed to operate in a wide range of harsh environments and conditions. However, it is important that exposure to high concentrations of solvent vapours is avoided, both during storage and operation.

Interference: Long lines of voltage signal cables may act as an antenna causing interference and noise leading to false readings and reduced accuracy.

The presence of Hydrogen Sulphide  can be detected by using the Gas Detection Australia GDA 2529 gas sensor to detect leaks of Hydrogen Sulphide  and evoke deodorisation plant. The SI-100C gas sensor can be used to monitor for leaks of LEL levels of methane gas. In digester applications Carbon dioxide can be detected using the GDA 4350
