AVR 20 : Alarm Flasher and Sounder

This sounder/flashers operates at 24VDC. The sounder can be permanently disabled so that unit acts as a flasher only. These units are designed for internal use. These are available in Red or Amber.

IS-A105N : Intrinsically Safe Alarm Sounder

The IS-A105N is a high output, 105dB alarm sounder. Approvals include ATEX, IECEx and GOST-R for Zone 0 applications and FM approval for Class I Division 1 and Class I Zone 0 applications.

The IS-A105N is suitable for all intrinsically safe signalling applications including fire, security and process control.

IS-L101L : Intrinsically Safe LED Beacon

The IS-L101L unit is an intrinsically safe field mounting beacon which provides a bright
flashing warning signal.


The unit can be used independently or combined with an IS-A105N 49 alarm sounder. Combination
units can utilise a common zener barrier or galvanic isolator and may be coupled together or
mounted seperately. With the IS-A105N the alarm accept function can be utilised. By closing a pair of
external contacts (i.e push switch) the operator may silence the alarm for set periods between 5
seconds and 2 hours. If after the preset time the alarm condition still exists the sounder will activate
again.

DA 2010-01 : Domestic/Caravan Gas Detector

The prime use of the domestic / caravan gas detector is the detection of flammable gas (LNG or LPG) below the lower explosive limit of the gas. The domestic/ caravan gas detector is designed to give an audio and visual warning that a preset level of gas has been exceeded. The caravan gas detector comprises of a power supply and gas sensor/ gas detector unit.

DA 2010-02 : Domestic/Caravan Gas Detector + Sounder/Flasher

The prime use of the domestic / caravan gas detector is the detection of flammable gas (LNG or LPG) below the lower explosive limit of the gas. The domestic/ caravan gas detector is designed to give an audio and visual warning that a preset level of gas has been exceeded. The domestic/ caravan gas detector has an external output which is used to drive an external sounder flasher. The DA2010-02 gas detector comprises of a power supply and gas sensor/ gas detector unit and AVR-20RM sounder/flasher.

DA 2010-03 : 12-24 VDC Boat & Caravan Gas Detector

The prime use of the boat / caravan gas detector is the detection of flammable gas (LNG or LPG) below the lower explosive limit of the gas. The domestic/ caravan gas detector is designed to give an audio and visual warning that a preset level of gas has been exceeded. The caravan gas detector will need to be connected to a 12- 24 VDC source power supply.

DA 2010-04 : 12-24 VDC Boat & Caravan Gas Detector With Switched Output

The prime use of the boat / caravan gas detector is the detection of flammable gas (LNG or LPG) below the lower explosive limit of the gas. The domestic/ caravan gas detector is designed to give an audio and visual warning that a preset level of gas has been exceeded. The gas detector has an internal sounder and an LED on the front panel which indicates the alarm condition. The boat / caravan gas detector has a volt free external output which is used to drive external loads such as solenoid or shut off valves. The output is a SPCO relay rated 1 A. The DA2010-04 is powered from the user DC power supply 12 - 24 VDC.

GDA 290 : Flammable Gas Detector

This standalone sensor/Controller has a set of normally closed contacts which open on alarm /loss of power or sensor malfunction, making it totally fail safe. The sensor uses an electro catalytic sensor and is factory calibrated at one alarm point. The unit can be powered from 12-32 VDC. The sensor element will not be damaged in cases of high exposure levels exceeding 100% LEL. The sensor can have factory calibrated alarm point as a % of the LEL to Methane, Propane or Butane. The unit is fully encapsulated and very robust.

GDA 2300 : MODBUS Gas Detection Sensor

The GDA 2300 series board is a slave MODBUS interface board that can read from a 2500 series sensor head and/or a 4-20 mA sensor input. The slave device can communicate MODBUS RTU with a baud rate of 9600 or 19200 bps and can have up to 32 devices on a single MODBUS line. The device support the functions ‘Read Holding Register’ (0x03) to read the concentration of the sensors and ‘Write Single Register’ (0x06) to control the 2 output relays from the MODBUS Master. The calibration of the device is easily done with span and zero push buttons that are mounted on the board.

GDA 2525 : Carbon Monoxide Gas Sensor (0-100 ppm, 0-150 ppm, 0-200 ppm, 4-20 mA o/p)

The GDA 2525 carbon monoxide gas sensor is a 2 wire 4-20 mA Loop Powered device. It has an electrochemical carbon monoxide sensor unit which is temperature compensated. This gas detector/gas sensor is certified for use in Zone 1 Hazardous areas within Australia. The gas detector/gas sensor is certified IEC Ex. It operates from 24 VDC and gives a 4-20 mA o/p over the range of the oxygen or toxic sensor to which it is calibrated. The gas detector/gas sensor can be programmed and calibrated without opening. GDA 2000VOC : Explosion Proof (IEC Ex) Flammable Volatile Organic Compound Gas Detector

GDA 3000 : Explosion Proof (IEC Ex) Methane/Propane/Butane/Carbon Dioxide Gas Detector

This Infra red sensor is certified for use in Zone 1 Hazardous areas within Australia. The sensor is certified IEC Ex. It operates from 24 VDC and gives a 4-20 mA o/p over the range 0-100% LEL of the gas to which it is calibrated to. The sensor also has two users settable alarm points with the associated output SPCO relays as well as a dedicated FAULT relay .The unit can be programmed and calibrated without opening. GDA 3100 : Refrigerant Gas Detector Now Available for HFO's (R514a, R1234yf etc)

This detector detects generally used refrigerant gases (R22, R123, R134a, R404, R407, R410 etc) in the range 0-1000ppm. Each dectector is calibrated to a specific gas type. It has a configurable analog output, 4-20 mA; 0-20 mA; 0-5 V; 0-10 V.There is also a volt free relay which can be user programmed to operate anywhere within the sensor range. The unit is powered from 24 VDC.

GDA 3160 : Flush Mount Refrigerant Detector

The GDA 3160 is a low profile wall mounted refrigerant detector for use in offices and laboratories where a gas sensor needs to appear non obtrusive. It is designed to fit into a Clipsal double gang GPO wall mount. The total protrusion from the wall is 13 mm. The sensor uses NDIR techniques for detecting a wide range of refrigerant gases and is therefore immune from cross sensitivity to other gases. It has 4-20 mA o/p and interfaces to the full range of GDA control units and will interface to BMS and SCADA.

GDA 3300 : Sulphur Hexafluoride (SF₆) Gas Detector

The GDA 3300 SF6 detector provides reliable long term detection of SF6 gas at low levels. The available o/p’s are 4-20 mA, 0-20 mA, 0-10 V, 0-5 V. There is also a user relay (SPCO) that operates at a user defined level. The unit is powered from a 24 VDC.

GDA 4350 : Carbon Dioxide Gas Sensor

The GDA 4350 is a 3 wire 4-20 mA Non Dispersive Infra red (NDIR) Carbon Dioxide sensor. It gives a 4-20 mA o/p over the range of the sensor. It is housed in an IP65 ABS plastic case with an IP60 aperture for the gas path. It uses laser LED to give reliable performance. Calibration for non critical safety applications is every 3 years. There is a low temperature version (suffix LT) which operates from - 25°C to 30°C and a process version (suffix -P) on the ranges 5, 20, 100% vol with a stainless steel 5/8” BSP connection.

GDA 4360 : Flush Mount Carbon Dioxide Gas Sensor

The GDA 4360 is a 3 wire 4-20 mA Non Dispersive Infra red (NDIR) Carbon Dioxide detector. It gives a 4-20 mA o/p over the range of the sensor. Designed for applications where low profile intrusion into a room space is required. The unit fits into a GPO Clipsal spacing using P clamps. It uses laser LED to give reliable performance. Calibration for non critical safety applications is every 3 years. There is a low temperature version (suffix LT) which operates from - 25°C to 45°C.

The GDA 40125 units are an integrated, wall mounted single gas detector control unit with a display. They interface with the full range of GDA 2500 series Toxic and Oxygen gas sensors. The unit has 2 user relays which can be programmed to operate at any level within the gas detectors operational range. Additional to this there is an independent fail safe fault relay. There is an o/p to drive a 24 VDC sounder / flasher (AVR-20Y/R) which can be muted from the front panel. The alarms are indicated on the display and by flashing LEDS. There is also a facility for modbus connection which can be added to the GDA 401205.

GDA 40127 : Carbon Dioxide Gas Detection Controller (4-20 mA o/p)

The GDA 40127 is an integrated, wall mounted single gas detector control unit for Carbon Dioxide detection with a display. The carbon dioxide detector is a Non Dispersive Infra Red gas detector. The unit has 2 user relays which can be programmed to operate at any level within the gas detectors operational range. Additional to this there is an independent fail safe fault relay. There is an additional o/p to drive a 24 VDC sounder / flasher AVR20Y/R which can be muted from the front panel. The alarms are indicated on the display and by flashing LEDS. The unit has a 4-20 mA o/p. There is also a facility for modbus connection which can be added to the gas GDA 40127.

GDA 490 : Multi way Control Unit for the GDA 290

The GDA 490 is designed to control 1-8 GDA 290 sensors for applications where chiller/refrigerant plant is using PROPANE as the refrigerant gas. The control unit derives the 24 VDC required for the sensors from the mains i/p and activates a local 24 VDC o/p on alarm to drive a sounder/flasher AVR-20. The sounder flasher can be muted from the front panel. The alarm also activates a DPCO relay; the contacts may be used to shut down and pump down the system. The alarm is indicated on the front panel by LED’s.

GDA 4011 : Flush Mount Single Channel Controller

This is a flush wall mounted (Clipsal GPO) single channel control unit. It interfaces to all the GD a series of 4-20mA sensors. There are 3 relay o/p’s, Alarm 1, 2, and fault. These relays are SPCO. The backlit LCD display indicates current gas concentration and alarm status. There is an internal sounder which can be muted from the front panel. The unit requires 24v dc.

GDA 4020 : Two Channel Controller

The GDA 4020 control unit has 2 x 4-20 mA i/p with 3 associated programmable relay alarm levels per sensor. There is an independent fault relay. There are 3 x analog o/p’s which can be configured for either channel as 4-20 mA, 0-20 mA, 0-5 V or 0-10 V. The controller has an isolated RS485 o/p which can be configured to drive modbus or an interface to the M2001 mimic panel. All configurations are carried out via the front panel push buttons. The unit requires 24 VDC.

GDA 2400 : Multiplexed 8 Input Controller

The GDA 2400 control unit can take up to 8 x 4-20 mA I/P's. The controller selects the highest reading from the sensors and displays the highest reading of gas from the sensors. This controller is used when ALL the gas sensors are the same type. It is particularly useful in Periphery monitoring and CAR PARK Ventilation control. There are 3 x programmable relay alarm levels. There is an independent fault relay. There are 3 x analog O/P’s which can be configured for either channel as 4-20, 0-20 mA, 0-5 or 0-10 V (with resistor) O/P’s. The controller has an isolated RS485 O/P which can be configured to drive modbus or an interface to the M2001 mimic panel. All configurations are carried out via the push buttons located on the rear of the control board. The unit requires 240 VAC.

GDA 4500 : Gas Sampling System

The GDA 4500 is designed to be used where sensors are placed in areas that are difficult to gain access such as pits and elevated areas. Sensors require periodic calibration and in the case of electrochemical gas sensors they will require annual periodic replacement. The GDA 4500 is placed in an accessible location up to 50M from the filter head; this is the actual sampling point where the sample is being drawn from. The gas is drawn via 6mm ID tubing from the area that needs to be tested and is passed over the sensor element. The end of line filter prevents dust and mycological build up in the line. There is an inbuilt flow fail detector to ascertain that the vacuum pump is operational. The GDA 4500 can be fitted with a control unit in the same box as the sampling system that interfaces with the control to give a flow fail alarm. The remote control allows the 4500 sampling section to be adjacent to the area. The control unit to sampling unit requires a 4 core cable and can be up to 1000m from the GDA 4500 sampling unit.

GDA 620 : Galvanic Isolator 1kV for 4-20 mA lines

This small potted Isolator is used for the protection of 4-20 mA signal lines against high voltage breakthrough and ground loops that give rise to noise problems. It is designed to be mounted inside or adjacent to control equipment. Cable Interface is via plug and socket.

M2001 : Flush Mount Mimic Panel

The M2001 is a low profile flush wall mounted MIMIC panel. These units are used on multi entry rooms so that users may view the gas levels and alarm status of each entry point for entering the room The M2001 is used in conjunction with the GDA 4020 AND GDA 2400 control unit. The M2001 derives its power and RS485 communications from the 4020/ 2400. The unit’s backlit LED display shows the real time concentration of the gas sensors connected to the 4020/ 2400 and any alarms that occur. The M2001 has an inbuilt sounder which can be muted from the front panel. The unit has two alarm relays which activate and deactivate in conjunction with the alarm status of the 4020 and 2400 control panel.

REP 2016 : Repeater Panel

The GDA Dual Channel Repeater Panel allows for simple replication of the alarm and system status of all GDA gas detection controllers by visual and auditory indicators. GDA Repeater Panels run from the same power supply as the GDA’s controllers and multiple Repeater Panel and be run from the same controller to show the alarm information in multiple locations. The number of daisy-chained Repeater Panels is limited by the capabilities of the system’s power supply. The Repeater Panel can be run in conjunction with GDA’s AVR20 sounder flashers.

MS001 : Flush Mount Mute Switch

The MS001 uses one of the alarm SPCO relays from the GDA 4020, GDA 4011, or GDA 2400 to drive the AVR-20R/YM sounder- flasher. The sounder- flasher can be muted by incorporating the MS001 into the o/p switched 24 VDC from the control panel. The sounder will sound when a gas alarm occurs and continue sounding until either the alarm level falls below its threshold value or the MS001 button is pressed. The Mute function automatically resets when the alarm condition terminates.

PSU E24 : Enclosed AC-DC 24V Power Supply

The PSU E24 is an AC-DC single output switching power supply with an output of 24 VDC at 1.5 A. The power supply is enclosed in an IP66 rated enclosure.

PSU P24 : Plugpack 24 VDC Power Supply

The PSU P24 is an AC-DC plugpack power supply with an output of 24 VDC at 0.75A. The plugpack has a 3m cable with a 2.1 mm DC plug.

SMS 320 : Alarm Broadcast SMS Unit

The GDA SMS message is designed to send a SMS text to 3 individual mobile No's to inform of an alarm OR fault condition. The system has its own mains power unit and batteries back up to allow transmission of fault conduction in the case of power outages.

GDP 176 : Portable Single Gas Detector

GDP176 portable single gas detector can detect a variety of combustible and toxic gases. The detector uses natural diffusion into electrochemical sensors (toxic gases ) and catalytic for flammable gases. The detector uses state of the art electronics and software to give reliable and repeatable readings The casing is a rubber based special high strength material which is anti- slip giving good water and dust proof resistance. The sensor has inbuilt data logging which will timestamp the gas level readings and alarms .This data can be downloaded to a pc for analysis . The gas detector is rechargeable and toxic gas sensors can operate for up to 300h hours between charges. The combustible gas sensor will operate for up to 8 hours between charges.

GDP 616 : Portable Multi-gas (4) Detector

GDP 616 is a portable multi-gas detector for the detection of combustible gas, oxygen, hydrogen sulphide and carbon monoxide. This instrument is designed to be used in SAFE AREAS. The unit has in built data logging and real time display of the concentration of all 4 gases. On alarm the detector will vibrate, flash and sound the alarm. The sensor is provided with battery charger and user interface software for downloading the data and parameter setting.
